That 120W/cm number actually tells you how fast your line can move. More power density means you can crank up the conveyor speed and still get the same UV dose on your product. To make sure that energy actually reaches your product, we use high-purity quartz glass. It stops the tube wall from soaking up the radiation. But here’s a heads-up: running these things at full blast creates a lot of heat. If your cooling fans can’t keep up, your electrodes will burn out way faster than they should. Keep them cool, and they’ll last.
